Over 95,000 female Islamic seminary students in Iran

Head of Iranian women seminaries said, “Kowsar Net has 100,000 female graduates, while there are 75,000 female clerics studying at women Islamic seminary, 15,000 at Jamiat al-Zahra University and 5,000 at the Al-Mustafa International University, which is more than 95,000 female seminary students, overall.

Hawzah News Agency(Qom, Iran)- Speaking at the women Islamic Seminary’s second national convention on Cyberspace,

Hojjat-al-Islam Jamshidi, Head of Iranian Women Seminaries stressed on the importance of the Cyberspace and said, “10,000 female clerics are working to create and share useful online content for people to use.”

“One of the important works done in the field of cyberspace by the women Islamic seminaries is creating one of the most advanced Islamic data centers in Iran and the Middle East,” he said.

Hojjat-al-Islam Jamshidi added, “What proved the special place of women seminaries was female clerics, themselves. They proved they could do such an effective work in the field of cyberspace.”

Head of Iranian Women Seminaries mentioned “Kowsar Net” as the largest network of religious, educational and research content for women and stated, “Kowsar Net has 100,000 graduates, while there are 75,000 female clerics studying at Women Islamic Seminary, 15,000 at Jamiat al-Zahra University and 5,000 at the Al-Mustafa International University, which is over 95,000 female seminary students, overall. If they join forces they could achieve the greatest goals in the world.”

He expressed, “The development of information technology has created such a great opportunity. Clerics should use this opportunity to convey God's message to the world.”

“Today, if we do not resolve the doubts of the Muslim men and women around the world, we would have no excuses at the resurrection day, because today we can use this cyberspace in the best way to spread God's teachings,” he concluded.
